In addition to the successful signing of the collective agreement, the parties are at an impasse with regard to the starting salary for non-supervisory staff and have agreed to manage this group of workers at an intermediate wage until the matter can be settled by mutual agreement. Representatives of the Antigua and Barbuda Workers` Union and the Antigua Commercial Bank met on 7 September 2018 to sign the collective agreement for the period 2017-2020. The collective agreement provides an overview of the working conditions of the Bank`s employees. The current agreement provides for salary increases for employees, as well as improvements to ancillary benefits such as transportation allowance, uniform, appeal pay, travel subsidy and a revised salary scale. .
